This weekend, we’ll be returning to the annual CIPD Midlands Area Partnership (MAP) event held at Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire. The event brings together HR and L&D professionals from 9 regional CIPD branches including: Birmingham, Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire, Hereford & Worcester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Shropshire – combined they have 15,000 members!

The theme for this years’ event is “Developing Capability for Shifting Times” with high performance being the focus to start the day; The 8:30am breakfast session will see Russell Deathridge, Principal Consultant at LHH Penna present on delivering high-performance with an agile workforce in uncertain and volatile times: before registration, networking and the exhibition opens shortly after.

The event will formally open just after 10am with Derek Redmond, olympic athlete, motivational speaker and Group Performance Director at Thomas International delivering a session on driving high performance through employee engagement.

Following a coffee break, Rob Robson – Vice President of HR at Tata Technologies will be sharing insights on creating an employee experience and the journey at Tata following the recent opening of their new European HQ in Warwick. After which, there will be a series of breakout sessions to choose from both before and after lunch.

Rob Briner, Professor of Organisational Psychology at University of London also recognised as the foremost Influential Thinker in HR in 2016 will be closing the day, but not before challenging some common assumptions about HR!

Similarly to last years’ event, we’ll have stand at the exhibition to showcase our HR software but more importantly, speak with other HR professionals and a few of our existing customers. We started from the ground up and built our system based on industry knowledge and continuous feedback, which still remains our approach today. We deliver one of the most innovative HR technology products in the market so that you can develop and grow your workforce fit for the future.
